Ginkgo Public Relations is seeking one part-time junior podcast outreach specialist to add to our agency that will manage between 2-3 client accounts. This equates to 12-15 hours per week.

This position is a perfect fit for a research-savvy self-starter with a knack for identifying what will appeal to podcast hosts and producers. We are an agency that leads with values in diversity, equity and inclusion, and we work primarily with underrepresented populations including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and neurodiverse individuals.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT 

Supporting a client load of 2-3 clients, which roughly translates to sourcing new shows to pitch, sending 20 pitches per month for each client, following up with previous pitches, and providing strategic weekly and monthly insights

Developing a deep understanding of your clients and the industries in which they operate

Creating and maintaining relationships with media makers and their teams

Working closely with the director, Cher Hale, to identify angles that will appeal to podcast hosts across a variety of niches

COMPENSATION RANGE

$20-$30 an hour, commensurate with experience

We offer this role as a part-time employee, and you will be expected to virtually attend one standing meeting per week.

We’re hiring one independently contracted administrative assistant to add to our agency that works between 8-12 hours per week and would be able to start as soon as February 2020. Our clients are authors, entrepreneurs, and brands in the wellness and lifestyle spaces such as a licensed counselor, a lawyer for influencers, and relationship experts.

Some of the books we’ve helped bring to market include Bare by Susan Hyatt, By Hand by Nicole Miyuki Santo, The Beauty of Conflict for Couples by CrisMarie Campbell and Susan Clarke, and How to Be an Inclusive Leader by Jennifer Brown.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Curate relevant media lists that we can use for future storytelling opportunities, speaking opportunities, social media campaigns, and experiential events

Track success by using search engines, alerts, and social media to ensure all client placements and mentions are monitored, captured and interpreted

Correspond with clients to schedule interviews

Update clients on monthly and weekly progress

Refresh client assets regularly to reflect new placements and interviews

Liaise with hosts, producers, and journalists to supply them with all necessary client assets

Research potential clients

Compose and send thank you emails to strengthen relationships with key influencers and hosts
